Quads reads a STEP file, a drawing or a photo, works out the setups and the operations, picks the cutters, prices the job and writes the program — then checks the program back against the part.

Twenty-four seconds, start to finish, on a real bracket. The file goes in, the setups get planned, the thin wall gets flagged, the job gets costed, the program gets written — and then the program gets checked back against the part.
Most tools stop at one of these. A quoting engine gives you a price and no program. A CAM package writes a program but needs someone to drive it. Quads takes the part from end to end, and every step is derived from the geometry rather than typed in.

Quads is built on Prosec, a cutting-tool business that has been solving exactly that problem for Indian manufacturers for three decades — including Bharat Forge, Cummins, BHEL, Mahindra and Tata. The engine specifies the cutter. Prosec supplies it, and regrinds it when it's worn.

Where a cutter isn't something we carry, you still get the full specification — diameter, geometry, grade, reach — so you can order it anywhere. We'd rather tell you that than steer the plan towards what's on our shelf.

The reasonable objection to automatic programming is that nobody wants to find out it was wrong when the tool is already in the material. So the program doesn't just get written — it gets read back and checked against the part it came from.
Every step shows its working: which feature drove which operation, which operation called which cutter, and why the plan is in the order it's in. If you disagree with a decision, you can see the one to change.
A geometric match to a catalogue is a match — not a stock check, not a quotation, and not a promise from the manufacturer. Where a figure is measured we say so, and where a sample doesn't represent a real order book we say that too.
The engine flags what it can't resolve rather than filling the gap with something plausible. On a shop floor, a confident wrong answer costs more than an honest gap.
Prosec runs its own regrinding facility, so a cutter Quads specified doesn't end its life in a scrap bin. It comes back, gets returned to its original geometry and recoated with a global premium coating partner, and goes out again. You keep running the same parameters you always did — with shorter processing times, you hold fewer tools in stock.
A tool that comes back tells us how the tool we chose actually performed — how it wore, how long it lasted, and whether the plan asked too much of it. That goes back into the engine, so the next part of the same kind gets a better answer.
